This interactive porn map by Porn MD displays the top 10 pornographic search terms over a 6 month period by country and U.S. state.  I’m really happy to see the #1 term both in the U.S. and Illinois is “MILF.” I certainly do live in the right place!

Here are the top 10 things I found interesting about the porn map:

  1. Pornstars don’t show up by name much at all in U.S. search terms except for Lisa Ann. She pops up repeatedly.  America, do you really like Lisa Ann that much?
  2. Creampie is really popular in Mid-America i.e. Nebraska, South Dakota, Kansas, etc. but not Massachusetts.  Too bad because I really wanted to make a joke about Boston Creampie.
  3. Vermont is the only state that has Lesbian Porn in the top slot.  I knew there was a reason I really liked Vermont! (I also think “top slot” might be some sort of inadvertent vagina pun).
  4. Finland’s top 2: Mature and Granny.  I’m moving to Finland after my MILF days are over.
  5. Romania’s Top 5: Mom and Son, Romania, Romanian, Slave and, Mom and son.  Keeping it in the country and in the family.
  6. Appearing in Lebanon’s top 10: Sleeping Girl, Shit Orgy and Hairy Arab.  Sounds like a party!
  7. Japan’s top 5: Japanese, Japan (gay), Japanese (gay), Japan, Japanese wife.  Japan already has everything they need!
  8. Nigeria’s #3:  “Things I jack off to.” Nigerian computers are mind readers.  I want a computer like this.  “Computer! Give me the porn I like and bring me some lube! And a Boston Creampie!”
  9. Chile #4: Homeless (gay).  This is a perfect example of Rule 34.  There is porn of EVERYTHING.
  10. Iceland #3: BDSM.  This is surprisingly one of the only times I noted BDSM pop up on any of the lists.  Coincidentally there is talk of Iceland banning BDSM porn

Enjoy the interactive porn map. I found lots of things that made me think and made me giggle.  Granted, I’m not sure about the research behind the map or it’s validity (some of the results seem a little hokey)— it’s still fun to play with.  <— that’s what she said.

What I find pretty disturbing is that every state except three have “teen” in their top five searches. The other three (W. Virginia, Mississippi, and Rhode Island) still have it in their top terms just not in the top five. That doesn’t do much to decrease the concern I feel for my young sisters of the world.
