In 2015 Mark Shrayber & his fiance Allen traveled to Morehead, Kentucky to get married. This is the same town where county clerk Kim Davis refused to issue marriage licenses to same sex couples citing religious beliefs. Davis was held in contempt of court and jailed for 6 days. Mark & Allen arrived in Morehead just in time for her release. As a journalist, Mark was chasing a story. As a couple, they were realizing a dream. Then they found themselves in the middle of a terrifying family values rally facing both violent discrimination and unconditional acceptance.
