What is Kinky Kollege?
Kinky Kollege Sexuality and BDSM convention is a wonderful weekend filled with sexuality and kink classes, seminars, a vendor area and social/play events. You can choose to participate in one, some or all of the activities. From the Kinky Kollege Website:
The campus will be open April 5-7, 2013, where some of the world’s most prominent professors and slippery students come together to create a pansexual educational event unlike any other. This event will take place at a beautiful hotel & convention center just 10 minutes from O’Hare International Airport and a short ride from Downtown Chicago.
The Nation’s top Alternative Lifestyle Educators will be at Kinky Kollege offering classes on everything you always wanted to know but were afraid to ask. The curriculum promises to be orgasmic. Earn credits toward your Masters (or Master’s) degree with accredited classes designed for students at every level of experience, ranging from beginners to the extreme edge player. There will be many classes, spanning all three days of the event, providing for an intense educational opportunity. Some classes will have hands on lab time and opportunity for professional coaching.

It seems everyone’s talking about non-monogamous relationships these days. Polyamory has recently been featured on prime time news shows, magazine covers and reality TV programs. If you’ve thought about exploring some form of non-monogamy, you’ve probably wondered:
Is there a difference between and open relationship and a polyamorous one? How do swinging and group sex factor in? What is the appropriate way to approach someone for a threesome? How is jealousy managed with multiple partners? Isn’t “open-relationship” just a fancy term for cheating? Are people poly because they like to have lots of sex? How I talk to my partner about opening up our relationship? What happens if I get jealous?
There is no magic formula for an open relationship or one right way to be poly. In this workshop Ken and Sunny explain different types of non-monogamous relationships and give you tools to craft and maintain a relationship that’s right for you (and them!).
This class is through Chicago’s Meow University

Ken Melvoin-Berg owns Weird Chicago Tours and the Midwest’s premier S&M Dungeon, The Studio. As a Lecturer and Sexstorian, he is the creator of On The Edge (a lecture/film series on BDSM). In addition to authoring 14 books on various subjects, Ken edits and writes numerous articles on sexuality.
He travels around the world teaching kink awareness to various private groups and continually develops new kink-friendly/sex positive classes.
Ken is responsible for the infamous Northwestern University Fucksaw controversy while teaching his class, Networking for Kinky People. Sunny Megatron is his partner in crime in his perverted adventures.
Sunny Megatron is a pleasure advocate, sex blogger, sexpert, adult sexuality educator and accidental superhero.
Along with Ken, she is one of the infamous Northwestern Fucksaw Four and is the proud owner of that fucksaw heard around the world.
On any given weekend you can find Sunny hosting Red Light District Sex Tours and bachelorette parties for Weird Chicago Tours. She also teaches various sexuality workshops around the country including: Networking for Kinky People, BDSM 101, How to Give a World Class BlowJob, Exploring Non-Monogamy, ZAP! Electrical Play, The Female Orgasm, and Junk For Your Junk: Sex Toys 101.
Although Sunny covers various subjects, her specialties are the female orgasm and alternative sexuality— from LGBTQ topics to swinging, BDSM, nontraditional relationships, extreme toys, g-spot techniques and more. She particularly enjoys helping those curious about adding a little spice to their sex lives that aren’t sure where to begin.
Ken and I are so excited to be back in LA and teaching our electrosex class at Hustler Hollywood. During our trip we’ll also be teaching a BDSM class at Stockroom (That event page is here), appearing as guests on Sex with Emily, filming a small part in a documentary, speaking to a university psychology class, and doing some secret squirrel stuff for SEX with Sunny Megatron– whew! Check out the deets for the class below. We hope to see you there!!!
You can also read a couple of articles I’ve written about electric play here:
If you think electrosex toys are only for pain and hardcore BSDM scenes, think again! While they can be used to bring your play partner mercifully to their knees, a simple setting adjustment can bring sensual, erotic play to your bedroom. You can even use electric toys to kick back and enjoy hands free orgasms.
During this class, you’ll get to try out a number of e-stim toys along with a wide variety of their attachments and accessories. Whether you’re new to electric play or a seasoned pro, like things on the vanilla side or are a heavy S&M player, you’ll learn how to tailor electrosex tools to suit your specific needs.
Ken Melvoin-Berg and Sunny Megatron will cover applications for every type of player, giving you both the basics and walking you through advanced techniques. You’ll also learn about alternate uses and get a sneak peek at some brand new products not yet on the market.
